Ask anything NORC has published, funded, or done

The map is everything the brain holds. Ask, and watch it search: every lookup lights the part it read, and the answer arrives with its sources placed.

Enter asks. Click any area, funder or agency on the map to ask about it, or press the orb and say it.

Focus areas indexed

The map above as a list: 9 categories and 81 sub-areas from norc.org’s own site structure, the expert topics with eight or more people, the funders, the agencies and the peers. Each one puts a question in the box.

Loading the list of areas.

Where the map is honest: category-to-area lines are norc.org’s taxonomy; area-to-funder lines are the areas each funder is mentioned with in NORC’s news; peer lines are a hand-curated overlap list. No line joins an agency to an area or a person, because the award record does not say which area an award funded or who worked on it.
